Court of Appeals Hears Case of C&MA Church Hijacking
The Bergen Record, which has been doing an ongoing series on the C&AM bullying tactics and lawsuit to seize the church property and assets of a local church in Paramus, New Jersey, just reported on this case which just went before the New Jersey Court of Appeals on September 19, 2012. The courtroom was packed in like sardines on the side of Christian Firefighter, Pastor Joe Smaha, and members and friends of Community Church of Paramus, and reporters form the Media, such as Karen Sudol, and Dave Tombers of the national World Net Daily. The only people supporting the prosecutor’s side were C&MA Metro District Superintendent Bruce Terpsra and his Attorney Hopkins. Each side was given 15 minutes to present their case, but were given much more time.

Commentary:
The Christian & Missionary Alliance is one of the most predatory denominations in America, suing and seizing one local church after another, in District after District. Their consciences have been seared by a hot iron. One more example is the recent case in California…see story at:

Do members in the C&MA churches around the country know that their tithes and offerings are going to C&MA District Superintendents to finance the lawsuits against their own brothers and sisters in Christ? (Of course NONE of these funds are available to the C&MA victim churches to pay their legal costs). The C&MA is guilty of the same sins of Hophni & Phinehas in Samuel 2:11-36. Like this account in Scripture, the C&MA effectively tells local churches: “Give us your offering [church], or we will take it by force!” The Lord judged Hophni and Phinehas with a death sentence! Who is Driving Purpose Driven
When the church we had attended for 25 years was slammed by a Purpose Driven takeover, the membership was stunned and confused. I was blessed to have a friend who had been through this experience in another city and told me about the Purpose Driven movement.
It soon became apparent that the big chain Christian bookstores did not sell material critical of “America’s Pastor” and his “under the radar” working. I began printing material from the Internet and distributing it to friends who were not computer savvy. After contacting James Sundquist to ask permission to use some of his material, he sent a case of books for me to distribute. He also kept in touch and encouraged a frightened and grieving band of church members who tried to hang on.
James Sundquist has a heart for God and for Truth. He also has a heart for the church, which is coming under persecution. I am thankful that he came to our defense to encourage us and arm us for the battle.

You are falsely accusing James Sundquist of lacking compassion. If you had taken the time to look at this entire site before pointing a finger of condemnation at him, you would have read the following on the “About” page:
“James also counsels families and churches in the US, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, Africa, and around the world who have been destroyed by purpose driven teachings and programs. James has a heart to spread the gospel and to serve the body of Christ.”
In fact, his whole website is devoted to victims of Warren and other abusers and perpetrators. And Mr. Sundquist spends hours a day ministering and counseling victims, even driving great distances to sit with them in court to bring the Balm of Gilead to their wounds and help them navigate a course.
Clearly, Mr. Sundquist is a man of Christian compassion. And he deserves an apology from you.

“Name withheld” Tell me how, or when, or where on this site it is stated that facts and the truth will be subjected to, or subservient to any form of someone’s perspective of what they want? I am sorry but you sound like a baby that does not get everything single thing that it wants…
This forum gives us factual knowledge and Godly wisdom. Thereafter, it is left up to each individual on how to appropriately respond to the call. If you are called to compassion, then do it all of your might as unto The Lord, never blaming someone else because they do not have your calling.

I say this with the love of the Lord hoping you will learn to better appreciate those who work so very hard at standing up for The Truth; Perhaps the most unappreciated task given to us by God in these profoundly dark times…

In response to the brave, “name withheld”, I answer your rant with truth- the truth that this site exposes works of darkness and the truth at his own risk. How much more compassionate do you expect him to be? He is laying down himself to expose works of darkness and other injustices. Just how much compassion do you want? Is he supposed to pay for hiring lawyers or something? Just what do you want? What do you expect? That these abuses are posted openly here are as compassionate as he can be. If there are independently wealthy people reading this who don’t offer to help- they might be able to be accused of not helping or those who don’t pray but this ministry is doing what it can to expose the evil works. It can’t be expected to fix them all as well.

The last 3 paragraphs from the article (below) demonstrate if you can twist the scriptures to justify your purposes. You can twist the GUIDELINES when they don’t fit your purposes either.

The irony is the C&MA Metro District anticipating the folding of their Pompton Plains NJ church, believed by introducing false teachers with their 3Key Coaching spiritual formation apostasy was their OBLIGATION !?!
